As a member of the I.A.S. (Indian Administrative Service, 1980 Batch –Bihar Cadre) had varied professional experience and developed proven leadership and teamwork skills in Planning, Implementation and Monitoring of Projects and Programmes even in difficult circumstances.

Took voluntary retirement from I.A.S. in 2012 to take over as Founder Vice Chancellor
of National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management  (NIFTEM)  (a Deemed to be University under Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India) In May, 2012.

On successful & highly fulfilling term of 5 years as Vice Chancellor NIFTEM, retired on
30 th April, 2017. Presently, working as Executive Chairman of Vindhyachal Agrofarms Pvt. Ltd., (Kanoria Foundation Group Company) since Oct. 2017.

Dr H.P. Singh

Dr. H.P. Singh, is currently the Chairman, Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI), Chairman, ASSOCHAM Council of Agriculture and Food Safety and an
Independent Director (DIN 06387125), Jain Irrigation Systems Limited, earned his Post-Graduation with Gold Medal from RAU, Pusa; Ph.D with certificate of merit, UAS,
Bangalore, and Post Doctorate, D.Sc (Honoris causa), OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

In past his engagements were as Deputy Director General (Hort.), ICAR; Vice-
Chancellor, RAU, Pusa, Bihar; Dean, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar;
Horticulture Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture; Chairman, Coconut Development
Board, Cochin; Director, National Research Centre on Banana, Trichy; Project
Coordinator (Fruits), IIHR, Bangalore.

He is a recipient of 3 International awards and 9 Fellowships and 39 National Awards
for outstanding contribution to Research, Education and Development.

Mr Atanu Purkayastha

Mr Atanu Purkayastha is a Post Graduate in Agriculture from GB Pant University of
Agriculture & Technology, and has also completed in MBA from University of
Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK and PhD from IIT Kharagpur.

As a member of the Indian Administrative Service (Retd IAS), he has over three decades (34 years) of experience working for the government and assisting in formulating policies, programme and in their implementation across the country.

He has served with the Government of India (GoI) as the Secretary, Central Information Commission, as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation(DAC) and in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), as the Director (Police) in MHA. In DAC, he held the charges of the Policy Division, Oil Seeds Division, Nutri-cereal Division, Seeds Division, Horticulture Division, Jute & Cotton Technology Missions and Drought Management Division. With the Government of West Bengal (GoWB), He has also served, inter alia, as the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of the Dept. of Horticulture & Food Processing Industries, Principal Secretary of the Dept. of Disaster Management, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Registrar of the Cooperative Societies, Director of the Directorate of Distribution, Procurement & Supply in the Dept. of Food & Civil Supplies, Labour Commissioner, District Magistrate of Nadia district, etc.

Mr Amajeet Banerji

Mr. Amajeet Banerji has done Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Institute for Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat, India and possess over 28 years of work experience, primarily in the areas of political strategy, research and advice; finance, media and political/social research. Mr Banerji expertise involves providing political and strategic advice to the industry groups and he is also involved in tracking public opinion, assessing the credibility of information collated, guidance on political strategies for companies, and assistance in building support at various platforms, from the villages to the national level.

Over the years he has advised names such as World Bank, GIC Singapore, DFID,
IDRC, Hakluyt & Co, Perfect Relations, Gujarat Ambuja Cement, SREI Infrastructure
Finance Ltd., Titagarh Industries, Electro steel Castings Ltd, Fox Mandal & Little and
Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (Amul) and is already on the board of companies such as: Trinet Communications Private Limited / Dynamic Multicom And Exporters Private Limited / Talisman Management Services Private Limited

Mr. Dhruv Tripathi

Mr. Dhruv Tripathi is a young and dynamic personality who has played an integral role in numerous agribusiness initiatives. He is educated at Bard College, one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the United States of America.

Over the past 2 decades, Mr. Dhruv Tripathi has demonstrated his passion and ability to transform rural agricultural projects into globally connected profit centers. Capitalising on the valuable asset of privately owned farm land in Eastern U.P., Mr. Dhruv Tripathi pioneered an organic farming and food brand venture in 2003. By establishing Ahana Organic, and adopting progressive means to agriculture and marketing, he asserted the company as one of the front-runners in the organic farming and retail space in India.

Mr. Dhruv Tripathi also serves on the board of Chandralok Aromatic Oil & Chemical Company Pvt. Ltd., which is involved in high value agriculture and the extraction of essential oils.Over the years he has gained a vast amount of experience through the process of setting up fully integrated farms and agri-ventures and as a result has been appointed as director in Vindhyachal Agrofarms Private Limited.
